On May 11th, 100 employees of VPNE their families attended the Big Apple Circus Legendarium, where the World's Greatest Circus Artists performed remarkable feats!! They enjoyed the hijinks of hysterical clowns, marvelous horses and mischievous pooches, soaring aerialists, flawless jugglers, shocking acrobats and a contortionist! It was a wonderful day sprinkled with energy and excitement that astonished the onlooker!
VPNE is proud to include "Leadership Training" as part of our Career Development and our Progressive Continued Education Programs. Each week, we invite a handful of our prospective VPNE leaders, supervisors and assistant managers to the Home Office where they have the opportunity to work directly with Kevin J. Leary. During the discussion the team learns about leading by example through a positive attitude at work, maintaining a professional appearance and having a strong work ethic. Kevin coaches our team about the business concepts which have led to VPNE 's continued success. Our team members are thrilled to have this opportunity devoted to career development and time spent one on one with Kevin learning new skills.
2012 has been a remarkable year of learning and growing. We have spent countless hours and energy creating a robust and exciting training program built specifically to enhance our customer service and employee development programs. We have improved our New Hire Coaching Program, intensified our Driving Test, and enriched our Certified Training Program all while creating over 150 jobs for the local community for which we serve.
VPNE created and launched our Wonderful Workplace Program in an effort to increase communication and improve the work experience for all of our colleagues. From these conversations grew a number of new opportunities available to our team members: English as a Second Language Class, Financial Fitness 101 and 201(courses designed to encourage and support personal financial growth), and our 90-Day Benefit Celebration (to celebrate our new team members experience and chat with new team members about utilizing our benefits package to the fullest extent).
VPNE explored new technologies, endorsed continued education for our team members, created new jobs, expanded our departments and excelled in our determination to continue to Drive Your Business and Build Your Brand.
2012 will be one for the books and we could not be more proud.
